A Message From Steve
Hello:
I am writing to thank those who took a part in this journey. As I have
always said, "a person defines their own path".
I will be Missouri's next State Representative from the 74th District.
It's because of an outstanding effort from a lot of people who
believed in something bigger. We did it on a shoe string budget
and with some very intense help.
Before I go any further I want to recognize those who were always
there for me, never said no and helped my in various ways.
Dianna Webb, Erin Webb, Rob Dobs, William Armstead, Tamekio Armstead,
Ce Ce Lumpkins, Regina Cook, Lydia Wardell, Spencer Wardell, Brandus
Tobias, Crazy Cherie, Mark Proctor, Elbert Walton, Juanita Walton,
Kelli Jordan, Sean Brooks and my entire Extended Horizons Family.
If I happened to miss anyone, I know you were there.
Special thanks go out to Ce Ce (you know why), Monique McNutt, Furby
and all the other young people who gave to be a part of something that
most kids there age would never think of being a part of.
To my wife, I thank you for being my backbone, for motivating me when
it seems like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. You are the
most decent person i know. There is never any intent on your part to
harm or hurt anyone and your intentions are always genuine, that's
rare in this world. I am so proud to be your husband.
To my children, who sometimes went without because we pumped so much
personal finance into this campaign. They understood and they played
there role in this campaign and it paid off. I love you all.
Out of 134 incumbents running for re-election state wide, I am the
only contender to knock one of them off. That says a lot about the
work that was put in. We worked hard, we withstood lies and a smear
campaign by the other side and we came out on top.
This is a life lesson for all of us. Never think that something is out
of reach. When someone believes in something, get behind them and help
them achieve it.
I love you all.
Steve
